Hey Penguin Parents!
Join other UHS Penguin Parents for a Penguin Parent Party & Silent Auction on February 1, 2019 at The Hop Shop, 3230 N Dodge (just north of Ft. Lowell in the Metal Arts Village). This is the same night as the Inaugural Ball that our students will be attending at the JCC. If you’re chauffeuring your student to the dance, then plan on joining us just a few minutes from the JCC.
While you’re mingling, take a moment to check out the Silent Auction offering many great items for bid. You can even now browse items, submit your pre-bids at

- Go to biddingowl.com/uhspa and create an account.
- Log in and view items. Bid on items that you like! (This is pre-bidding.)
- The Bidding Owl site will close at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 1.
- Attend the Penguin Parent Hop & Shop to continue bidding.
- Bidding at the Hop & Shop will close at 9:00 p.m.
- It’s best to attend the party to finish bidding in person.
- If the highest bid for an item is the online pre-bid, then the online pre-bidder will win the item and be contacted for payment and transfer of the item.
- The party location, the Tucson Hop Shop, only sells drinks (beer, soda, juice, and other beverages). A food truck will be on site. You are also welcome to bring food or to order pizza or other food (from restaurants or services like Uber Eats).
- The Parent Hop & Shop is from 7:00-10:00 p.m. The student Inaugural Ball is from 7:00-11:00 p.m. The Tucson Hop Shop is open until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday nights.
